About this place
Peninsula Hot Springs is a geothermal bathing spot in Fingal, about ninety minutes south of Melbourne on the Mornington Peninsula. Drawing 50°C mineral-rich thermal water from an aquifer 637 metres underground, the sanctuary spans more than seventy globally inspired outdoor bathing experiences set amid coastal moonah woodland, wetlands, and native botanical gardens.
Visitors can move between hilltop thermal pools, cold plunge barrels, underground sauna caves, Turkish hammams, and hydrotherapy reflexology walks before booking treatments inside the Spa Dreaming Centre.
Spa treatments include clay wraps, wattleseed scrubs and body oils. Check the current menu with the venue for details of individual treatments and their cultural context.
On Boonwurrung Country, the venue describes work on geothermal heat recovery, wetlands and onsite gardens. Day visitors and overnight guests can check the current bathing and stay options before arriving. If you prefer quieter hours, look at the dawn bathing sessions and the hilltop pool when planning your visit.
