Meet the makers. Check the claims.
Beaut helps you find Australian beauty makers and places to unwind. We check the claims on our listings and show you where they came from.
It's easy to mistake "designed in Australia" for "made here". We look for the difference and give you the links to take a closer look too.
1. Earned, never bought
No paid placements, sponsored rankings or listing fees. We choose makers and places using the same criteria, whether they contact us or we find them.
2. No proof, no badge
We add a badge only when we can link to a relevant source, such as a certifier's register or the maker's own policy. You can open that link on each listing.
3. Human-reviewed quarterly
A person reviews each listing before it goes live. We check links again every quarter and flag older listings for another look.

How a listing gets here
- We find a maker or place. We look through public directories and welcome your suggestions.
- We gather the details. We note where products are made or treatments take place and collect links behind any proposed badges.
- An editor checks the listing. They read the sources, check the claims and write the profile before it appears on Beaut.
- We check back. Every 90 days, we check that websites and source links still work.
